The Scarlet Minivet, Pericrocotus flammeus is a small passerine bird. This minivet is found in tropical southern Asia from the Indian subcontinent east to southern China, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

An amazing, stunning shot! I really love the brilliance of the colors. The detail is excellent, I can see the claws and the texture of the legs. The pose is really nice, like it's poised to fly off at any moment while the eye scans for danger in other directions. The yellow markings on the tops of its wings is nicely contrasted by the grey, it really pops. Beautiful work.
