Catch of the Day

I was by the lake just the other day, when this majestic White-bellied Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) suddenly swooped in out of the white skies some distance away and plunged into the lake, grabbing this huge catfish in its talons. Unfortunately I was too far away to grab a shot of the actual snatching of the prey, but got this shot just moments after the bird got its catch, as the bird flew over the lake towards my direction, gaining height as it went. It then skimmed over the treetops and disappeared, presumably going back to its nest with the catch.
