A remarkable and beautiful looking bird, this male white-morph Asian Paradise Flycatcher, an uncommon passage migrant to Singapore, was recently spotted in the local Botanical Gardens by a fellow bird photographer. Word spread quickly, and I came to know about it that very same day. It was somewhat fortuitous that the following day fell on a Sunday, so I decided to try my luck despite an early morning storm. This elusive chap spent much of the rest of the morning teasing us, flitting gracefully amongst the tree tops after insects which are its choice meals. After a 3 hour wait, it briefly perched for barely 10 seconds on an open branch about 3 metres or so from the ground, in front of a bunch of excited birders and photographers. Held my breath, squeezed my shutter, and rattled off 5 or 6 frames before it took flight back to the thick canopy of the taller trees. This was the most presentable of the lot, heavily cropped but still having enough quality and details as it were, to make the long wait worthwhile, and to strike off another much sought after bird from my list.
Fullview please, to view this beauty in all its glory!
Im doing a project to make a headpiece inspired by birds of paradise for college. i was wondering if i could use your image for inspiration only and to include on a moodboard (a collection of influential images), will that be okay?

Doch weil ich arm bin, habe ich nur meine Träume.
Die Träume breite ich aus vor deinen Füßen.
Tritt leicht darauf, du trittst auf meine Träume.
